Union EAP is helping organized labor unions develop sustainable, recovery-friendly workplaces and improving the lives of union members by partnering to address mental health, substance use, financial, and legal challenges. Union EAP’s national network of centrally managed Care Coordinators offers prevention education, responds to emergent crises, and helps members and their families access a comprehensive continuum of high-quality services. Union EAP works to improve understanding and normalize treatment access to foster stigma-free, trust-based organizational cultures.
OUR SERVICES
AVAILABLE + ACCESSIBLE
Union EAP Care Coordinators are available 24/7/365 you will never be asked to call back between 9-5. Our phones are staffed by licensed clinicians who are easy to talk to and great at solving complicated problems.
PLAN COVERAGE, ASSESSMENT, + REFERRAL
We verify members benefits as well as their deductible status and out of pocket max which allows us to provide much more practical solutions than just a list of in-network providers.
MENTAL HEALTH + SUBSTANCE USE
All of the data indicates that these challenges make up about 90% of the calls EAP’s field. With that in mind we built a team highly skilled and trained in mental health and substance abuse.
WORK + LIFE SERVICES
Although these make up far fewer calls into EAP’s we have the resources to assist members in everything from health and wellness planning to arranging legal consultations.
