Ben Cort

Ben has been a leader and innovator in the mental health/substance use disorder field since 2007. He has held executive positions in a wide range of organizations including nonprofit, for profit, hospitals and community based programs. 

He has been utilized by professional and collegiate sports leagues to assess treatment programs as well as write recovery oriented policy for their athletes. 

After helping to build a treatment program to meet the specific needs of specialized labor Ben moved into a role with the NFL Players Association, his first formal project working specifically for a union. Since then Ben has gone on to work with multiple trade unions to improve access for members to quality mental health care. 

After writing a widely adopted education and certification program around ethical treatment practices Ben had become regarded as an authority on the subject and is a frequent guest in the media discussing the subject and others.  

Sober since 6/15/96 Ben tries to practice the principles of recovery in his business as well as personal life.
